wow, prayer works!

Last night I had a meeting with the CE Board, the first since my 3 hour review with them a little over a month ago. Obviously I was a little anxious, I don't do well with conflict. As an example, I used to be a waiter, and I had a customer who was very not pleased with his hashbrowns, and I had a grunpy cook who wouldn't fix them, and I had an awful lump in my throat as I took the "new" hashbrowns out the customer. Thankfully he just blamed to cook, knowing that all I was doing was serving the poor food, so it ended up fine, but I was freaking out because I was getting conflict on both sides.

So going into this meeting, I just made sure I was prepared, telling them what I had been doing differently, what I was planning on doing differently, and stuff like that. After I was done talking, there were a couple easy questions, and that was it! It was a breeze. Needless to say that was an answer to prayer, I don't know if I was emotionally ready to take more criticism.
