Reed Oliver Carlson

Well, phase one is complete, we have our baby in our arms, and it feels good. Reed Oliver Carlson was born at 2:35 AM Tuesday morning, the 6th of February. He was 6 pounds, 4 3/4 ozs., and 21 inches long. Your prayers were obviously answered, when the hard contractions started, Erin was only in the delivery room 13 minutes before baby was born, and the doctor was a minute late. I had to step in and take over. Just kidding, the 3 nurses had it under control. I could have though...

The plan now is that in a few weeks Erin, Reed and I will go to Saskatoon for her Thyroid surgery. Please continue to pray for a quick recovery. Erin has already said that this has been the quickest recovery yet, and can't believe how good she's feeling. Praise the Lord!

Wow. So this is the little boy who was covered with the prayers of the saints for the last nine months! It's wonderful to see his little face--not just cute, but an answer to our prayers.

Thanks for being so open through your journey. You have become a living example of faith for all of us. We think of you as our own flesh and blood.
